A plain-English walkthrough of Naturcontact's zero-drop shoe lineup, prices, Naturshield waterproofing claims, and the three public codes you can actually stack against.

Naturcontact is a small UK registered company selling zero-drop barefoot shoes, winter boots, kids' pairs and accessories. Nobody here has worn a pair, so this is not a verdict on the footwear itself. It is a map of what the brand publishes, what it does not, and the conditions that quietly decide whether a code saves you anything at checkout.

What Naturcontact sells and who it is for

Naturcontact Group Ltd. is registered in the UK (company number 16130331, 5 Greenwich View Place, London, E14 9NN) and describes itself as a "small UK-based business" producing 1,000 to 2,000 pairs per model per batch. The full catalogue runs from £9.99 accessories up to £119.99 winter boots. Everything is listed as 100% vegan, with no animal leather used anywhere in the uppers.

The brand also runs a "1% for Nature" programme, donating to Surrey Wildlife Trust as a Silver member for habitat restoration and tree planting. That is a published policy rather than a claim about shoe quality, so take it for what it is.

If you want a traditional cushioned trainer with a raised heel, this brand is not for you. Every adult shoe on the site is marketed as zero-drop, meaning the heel and the ball of the foot sit at the same height. That is a specific preference, not a universal upgrade.

The three real choices in the Zero-Drop lineup

Three adult models have full specifications published. Everything else on the catalogue page lists a price range only, so these are the pairs you can actually compare before buying.

Storm Feel is the waterproof option at £109.99. The brand lists a 10mm stack height, a weight of 326g in UK 8 (EU 42), an Oxford-plus-water-resistant-cloth upper with foam, and an eco-rubber sole. It uses what the brand calls "Naturshield Technology" and claims protection "up to 4cm deep for up to four hours." Available in UK 3 to 11.5 (EU 36 to 46).

Terra Trail is the low hiker at £99.99. Stack height is 16mm — the tallest of the three despite the barefoot label — and it weighs 257g in UK 8. The upper is listed as eco-vegan waterproof leather with a soft vegan leather lining and a non-slip eco-rubber sole. It uses "Zero Heel Technology," which is a Naturcontact-registered name rather than an independent standard.

Outdoor Contact 3.0 is the lightest and currently the cheapest of the three at £49.99 (listed from £69.99). Stack height is 18mm, weight 274g in UK 8, and the upper is a high-stretch breathable polyester, which reads as a warm-weather pick rather than a wet-weather one.

If a shoe is not in those three, you are buying on name and photo alone, because the product-level specs are not published on the catalogue page.

Naturshield and the boots lineup

The winter boots are split into four lines. Alaskan 2.0 starts at £79.99 (listed from £99.99), Intemperia 2.0 is £89.99 (from £109.99), and Arctic Contact 4.0 is £69.99 (from £89.99). Lapland 2.0 is the one to double-check at the till: the catalogue page shows "From £99.99 (Was £119.99, save £20)," but the Lapland product page itself shows £119.99 with no reduction. The brand does not reconcile the two prices on its own site.

"Naturshield" appears across the winter range, but the only hard waterproof number — 4cm deep for four hours — is published on the Storm Feel page specifically. The brand does not publish an independent test lab or standard behind that figure, so it is a trademarked marketing term rather than a certified rating.

Smart-casual and everyday models cover a similar price band: Tracker Vegan Leather 2.0 from £79.99, George 2.0 at £79.99, Metro Flex 3.0 at £69.99 (listed from £79.99), Bare Clog at £69.99, and Aramid Contact 3.0 at £79.99.

Kids' pairs

The kids' collection is simpler. Junior Contact 4.0 is £39.99 (listed from £49.99) and Mini Contact 2.0, aimed at infants, is £29.99. The catalogue does not publish stack height, weight, or full material specifications for any of the kids' pairs, so you are buying on the brand's name rather than numbers you can compare.

Shipping — the threshold the brand does not publish

The shipping policy page states that free shipping is included in the final price, but does not publish a specific free-ship threshold in pounds or any other currency, and does not say whether that threshold is calculated before or after a discount code is applied. For a store where codes stack unpredictably, that is a real gap.

What is published: processing takes up to 2 business days (same-day if ordered before 12:00 UK time), delivery takes 1 to 2 business days to the UK from the UK warehouse (5 to 8 from the EU warehouse), 1 to 2 business days to Germany from the German warehouse (6 to 9 from elsewhere), and 8 to 12 business days to the US. Orders ship Monday to Friday only, and no P.O. Box addresses are accepted. UK orders go via DPD and Royal Mail. International shipments may incur customs duties and import taxes paid by the buyer. If an order has not arrived after 20 business days, the buyer can request a refund.

The brand also publishes a separate Premium Fast Delivery tier that is free on orders over £100 / €100 / $100 (the brand absorbs the EU customs cost on that tier) and costs £4.99 to £6.99 below that threshold. That is the only shipping tier where a specific price threshold is named.

Returns — read the clearance exception

The headline return window is 30 days from the order date, with items unworn, unused, in original packaging with tags attached, and with proof of purchase. If the original box or accessories are missing, £9.50 (or €9.50) is deducted.

The exception matters: clearance items can only be returned within 14 days, and some specific clearance models cannot be returned at all. The brand does not publish the list of which clearance SKUs are non-returnable, so assume anything marked clearance is close to final sale.

Return shipping varies by country. UK customers get a free prepaid label, but £5 is deducted if you refund to the original payment method. German customers get free exchanges and gift-card refunds, but pay return shipping plus a €5 restocking fee for cash refunds. Everywhere else, the buyer arranges and pays return shipping, and in some locations the brand offers a £20 or €20 gift-card voucher instead. First exchanges are free in UK, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, and France; later exchanges within 30 days do not get a free label. Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days.

Warranty — small print has a fee

Warranty is 12 months and covers accidental damage, not normal wear. The excess fee is £14.90 (or €14.90) for items under £60, and £24.90 (or €24.90) for items at £60 or above. The brand also sells an optional one-year warranty extension for £19.99 that covers accidental damage; if approved, the brand ships a replacement at no charge. The brand does not publish the specific exclusion conditions beyond "normal wear," and does not clearly state whether the standard 12-month warranty covers manufacturing defects or only accidental damage, so the definition of what is covered is at the brand's discretion.

What Naturcontact does not publish

Collected in one place, because this is where quiet costs hide.

  • The exact free-shipping threshold, the currency it is measured in, and whether it is applied before or after a discount code.
  • The specific terms, exclusions, and expiry dates of the BLACKVIP and CLEARANCE codes advertised on the homepage.
  • Whether the LEE2455 code can be combined with BLACKVIP or CLEARANCE, and which code takes priority if more than one is entered.
  • The list of clearance models that are non-returnable.
  • The exclusions attached to the 12-month warranty beyond "normal wear."
  • The cookie window on the Bixgrow affiliate programme and the exact per-tier commission rates.
  • The year the company was founded.
  • Whether international markets carry a different catalogue to the UK store.

Independent review signals are mixed. According to Trustpilot data from October 2026 (1,932 reviews, TrustScore 4.0 out of 5, 71% five-star and 19% one-star), several customers report "sole detached after minimal use" — one reviewer bought in November 2025 and had the sole separate after a few months of wear. According to the brand's response pattern on Trustpilot, Naturcontact replies to 91% of negative reviews within 48 hours. According to Reviews.io data from the same month (377 reviews, 4.6 out of 5), the picture is more favourable: 94% of reviewers recommended the brand and 98% reported on-time delivery, with customer service responses logged at 2 to 3 hours by email, phone, or live chat. The two external sources do not agree on durability, and the brand itself does not publish a lifespan claim or a materials fatigue test.

Who should skip this brand

  • Anyone wanting a cushioned, heel-raised trainer. Everything here is zero-drop by design.
  • Anyone who needs guaranteed waterproofing for serious outdoor use. The only hard figure is 4cm for four hours on one model, and it has no independent lab name attached.
  • Anyone buying clearance stock expecting a normal 30-day return. The window drops to 14 days and some clearance models are not returnable at all.
  • Anyone outside UK, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, or France who does not want to pay return shipping on an exchange or settle for a gift-card voucher.
  • Anyone who wants a published warranty exclusion list before buying. "Normal wear" is not defined.

Check before you pay

Three codes are in play at the same time, and the brand only publishes two of them.

  • BLACKVIP gives an extra 25% off and is advertised on the homepage.
  • CLEARANCE gives an extra 20% off and is also advertised on the homepage.
  • LEE2455 gives 15% off and is the code we have been issued. It does not appear anywhere on the Naturcontact homepage, and the /discount/LEE2455 link redirects to the homepage without a banner.

In plain terms, the two codes the brand itself publishes are stronger than ours. If your cart qualifies for BLACKVIP or CLEARANCE on the brand's own terms, those are the ones to try first. We cannot confirm whether LEE2455 can be combined with either of them, because the brand does not publish the stacking rules. If a stronger public code works for your order, use it.

Also worth checking before you pay: whether the item is a clearance SKU (14-day return and possibly non-returnable), whether the shipping line is zero at your subtotal (the free-ship threshold is not published), and whether any applied code survives after your subtotal changes. The code field only shows the discount it actually applied, not the ones that silently failed.

If after all that you still want to use our code, you can compare the full offer list and the live conditions on our store page. For the brand's own terms, including the exact return and warranty language quoted above, the Naturcontact refund policy page is the primary source.
