Lumary is a US and Canada smart lighting brand selling recessed cans, permanent outdoor lights, deck and landscape kits, and ceiling-fan lights that work with Alexa and Google. No one on the StackWell Pick team has installed a Lumary fixture, so this is a buying guide written from the brand's own product, policy and discount pages rather than a hands-on verdict.
What Lumary sells
The catalogue listing shows 108 products, in four groups:
- Smart recessed lights, in canless, retrofit and gimbal versions.
- Smart outdoor lights: permanent light strips for rooflines, deck lights, landscape spotlights, outdoor light bars and neon rope lights.
- Smart ceiling-fan lights, indoor and outdoor, combining a fan with a tunable light.
- Other smart home gear: Wi-Fi water timers, smart outlets and plugs, a thermometer-hygrometer and the Smart Skylora Sky Light.
Most of the money sits in the first two groups. Lumary describes itself as "a smart lifestyle brand providing high-end smart home products" combining voice control and a mobile app. The "high-end" label is the brand's own wording, with no benchmark or third-party ranking behind it on the site, so read it as positioning rather than evidence.
The axes you actually choose on
Fixture type. Recessed cans are an indoor retrofit job, permanent outdoor lights sit under the eaves, deck and landscape kits go in the yard, and ceiling-fan lights replace an existing fan-and-light fixture. The warranty and return terms below apply to all of them.
Smart stack. Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri (through app automations) are named for the main recessed and outdoor lines, and Permanent Outdoor Lights 3 also lists WLED and Home Assistant, the only open-source control in the catalogue. HomeKit and Matter are not mentioned anywhere on the brand's pages.
Radio. Everything smart here runs on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, which matters at setup if your router hides 2.4 GHz behind a merged SSID.

Shipping, returns and warranty
Lumary ships to the US and Canada. US shipping is free with no minimum order stated on the policy page. Canada is charged by weight: $80 up to 3 kg, $120 up to 5 kg, $150 over 5 kg, in USD as the policy page shows. Processing is two business days post-order, delivery is 3–5 working days in the US and roughly 6–10 working days to Canada, by UPS, USPS or Amazon Logistics, with tracking by email and through 17track.net.
Returns run on a 30-day money-back window from the purchase date. Items have to come back "unused, in the original packaging and in a resell-able condition" with every accessory included. If the wrong product was sent, the brand pays the shipping; otherwise you pay the return shipping, and Lumary says it does not cover that cost. Limited-time-offer items cannot claim a refund of the price difference, damage from accident, misuse or modification is excluded, and you must email support@lumarysmart.com before sending anything back.
Warranty is one year from purchase for manufacturing defects, with repair or replacement of faulty units. Repaired or replaced units get another 90 days or the remainder of the original year, whichever is longer. Normal wear, accident damage and consequential damages are excluded. One internal gap: the Smart Recessed Light Pro product page lists LED lifespan as "over 25,000 hours" but does not reprint the one-year warranty, so the policy page is where the warranty length lives. That lifespan figure comes with no independent test or stated measurement conditions.
What Lumary does not publish
From Lumary's own product, policy, discount and FAQ pages, these are simply not stated:
- Whether the US free-shipping line is worked out before or after a discount code is applied.
- Any shipping to the UK, EU, Australia, or markets outside the US and Canada.
- A restocking fee on returns. The policy page does not mention one, which is not the same as there being none.
- Buy-now-pay-later options such as Klarna or Afterpay. The accepted list stops at the major cards plus Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, Union Pay and PayPal.
- Whether the public LM5 and LM10 codes stack with the automatic tiered discounts of $150, $200 and $300.
- Whether any code works on items already on sale or flagged as a limited-time offer.
- Which product lines, if any, are excluded from codes. The discount page lists no exclusions, but it does not promise there are none either.
- Year founded, head office location or team size.
- ETL, CE or FCC certification for the outdoor lines. Those marks appear only on the Smart Recessed Light Pro.
- HomeKit or Matter support. Only Alexa and Google are confirmed in writing.
- Color Rendering Index for any of the recessed cans, or beam angle for the downlight range.
If any of those would change your decision, email support@lumarysmart.com before you order.
Check before you pay
- US shipping is free with no stated minimum, and the brand does not say whether a code changes that. Canada is charged by weight at $80, $120 or $150, added at checkout.
- LM10 gives 10% off on four pieces and LM5 gives 5% off on two, but Lumary counts "shopping cart quantity, where multi-packs count as 1 piece each," so a single 4-pack is one piece.
- Codes have to be typed in at checkout. The brand says they are "not automatically deducted."
- Whether a typed code can sit on the same order as the automatic $1,299, $1,699 and $1,999 tiered discounts is not published, so read the order total in your own cart before you pay.
- Return shipping is paid by you, and no restocking fee is published either way.
Who should skip Lumary
Buy somewhere else if:
- You live outside the US or Canada. Lumary does not publish shipping there.
- You run an all-HomeKit or all-Matter smart home and will not add a bridge or an automation layer. Only Alexa and Google are confirmed.
- You need published CRI or beam-angle numbers to plan a kitchen or art-wall install.
- You cannot absorb the return freight on a $300-plus outdoor kit if the install does not work out.
Using the code on our store page
The code on our Lumary store page is LEEBX for 10% off, with no minimum quantity attached.
Lumary also runs a public code, LM10, at the same 10%, so this is not an exclusive rate. The difference is the hurdle: LM10 needs four pieces in the cart, and multi-packs count as one piece each, so a 4-pack buyer clears LEEBX but not LM10. LM5 gives 5% off for two pieces under the same counting rule. The homepage banner also carries a sign-up offer of $8 off a first order.
Nobody on our team has put LEEBX through a live Lumary checkout yet. The brand's own discount page is the source for all of these rules.
What outside reviewers found
According to HighTechDad reviewer Michael Sheehan, writing in November 2025 after multi-week outdoor testing of the Smart Outdoor Spot Lights 6-pack (56ft), the IP65 rating held through rain with no water ingress, he scored the kit 4.1 out of 5, and he found Alexa and Google control limited to basic on and off with no HomeKit and fixed cable spacing between spotlights. According to The Gadgeteer reviewer Celeste Miller, in a September 2025 hands-on with the Lumary B1 Smart Ceiling Fan Light ($159.99), the clear fan blades show dust quickly and the airflow comes out as a focused column rather than a spread. Those are reviewer observations, not Lumary claims.
Bottom line
Lumary fits if you are shopping in the US or Canada, can live with Alexa or Google rather than HomeKit or Matter, and are filling a run of recessed cans or planning a permanent outdoor install. The one-year warranty is standard for the category, the 30-day return window is fair, and the discount page is unusually clear about how its own codes count pieces.
The thin part is the written record: certifications for the outdoor lines, CRI, beam angle, and whether a code survives a sale item. The current public codes and the LEEBX terms sit on our Lumary store page.
