Nothing with the UGREEN HomeAgent name has shipped to a single customer yet, so this guide is about a pre-order decision, not a verdict on hardware anyone has used.
What UGREEN HomeAgent actually is
UGREEN runs two different storefronts. `ugreen.com` sells cables and chargers. `ai.ugreen.com` — the one this guide is about — sells NAS boxes and AI hardware under the UGREEN AI/AIoT brand, including the DH, DXP, and iDX series that are already on sale as normal retail products.
HomeAgent is not one of those retail products. It is a new line UGREEN is funding through a Kickstarter campaign: an AI hub that combines network storage, a security-camera recording hub, and a smart-home controller in one box, with all AI processing running on the device itself rather than in the cloud. The built-in assistant is called Uliya, and UGREEN says it works without a monthly subscription fee.
As of today, the campaign has not even opened. Reservations close November 16, 2026 at 11:59 PM PT, the Kickstarter page itself goes live November 17, 2026, and the earliest deliveries are not scheduled until late February 2027. That timeline was pushed back once already — the launch date moved from an earlier October 27, 2026 slot.
The real choice: HA100, HA100 Pro, or MA100
UGREEN is pre-selling three tiers, and the gap between them is large:
- HA100 — the entry hub, aimed at a home office or a few cameras.
- HA100 Pro — the same category, roughly eight times the AI performance and double the RAM.
- MasterAgent MA100 — a different class of machine entirely, built around an NVIDIA Jetson Thor T5000 chip, priced for small businesses rather than a house.
The deciding factors are AI processing power, RAM, and price — storage capacity barely moves between the first two tiers (both top out at 96TB), so it is not the number that separates them.
The numbers, tier by tier
UGREEN's own crowdfunding page confirms the HA100 ships with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and the Uliya assistant. Beyond that, a hands-on review by hometechhacker.com — the most detailed independent teardown available — adds the rest of the HA100's internals: 26 TOPS of AI performance from an RK1828 accelerator chip, a Rockchip RK3588 main processor, 64GB of eMMC onboard storage, three SATA bays split two for file storage and one for camera recording, one M.2 NVMe slot reserved for AI models, a 2.5GbE network port plus four PoE ports for powering cameras, one USB-C 3.0 port, two USB-A 3.0 ports, and UGOS Pro (which supports Docker) as the operating system. MacRumors reports the HA100 also speaks Wi-Fi, Zigbee, Thread, Bluetooth, NFC, ONVIF/RTSP for IP cameras, and Matter, and a review by appmyhome.com notes a front touchscreen, a built-in microphone, and a speaker.
The HA100 Pro steps up to 205 TOPS of AI performance and 32GB of RAM, still topping out at 96TB of storage — those three figures are published by UGREEN directly. UGREEN does not publish the HA100 Pro's bay count, eMMC size, network ports, or dimensions.
The MasterAgent MA100 is rated at 2,070 TFLOPS (Sparse FP4), runs on the Jetson Thor T5000, carries 128GB of RAM, and supports up to 128TB of storage — all from UGREEN's own page. UGREEN does not publish the MA100's bay count, eMMC size, or port layout either.
Price, and the two numbers that disagree
Pricing has already changed once, and not every UGREEN page reflects the change. Before October 27, 2026, the HA100 MSRP was listed at $1,799 with a $899 Super Early Bird price. UGREEN's current crowdfunding page lists $1,599 MSRP and $799 Super Early Bird instead — but at least one secondary page, UGREEN's own Australia version of the same campaign, still shows the older $899 figure. UGREEN has not reconciled the two.
Taking the current numbers as published today:
- HA100: $1,599 MSRP, $799 Super Early Bird (deposit $50), $959 Early Bird.
- HA100 Pro: $5,399 MSRP, $2,699 Super Early Bird (deposit $50). UGREEN does not publish an Early Bird price for this tier.
- MasterAgent MA100: $19,999 MSRP, $9,999 Super Early Bird (deposit $200).
Backers who reserve at the Super Early Bird tier also get a free gift — a UGREEN SynCare ID500 Pro camera with either HA100 model, or four 8TB hard drives (which UGREEN estimates at $840 to $1,400 of value) with the MA100. That gift is tied to the deposit deadline, not to the product itself. The HA100 Super Early Bird reservation is the entry point most readers will actually use, so it is worth being precise about what it includes: a $799 price lock against the $1,599 MSRP, a free camera, and a $50 deposit that UGREEN says is refundable.
Shipping, returns, and warranty
UGREEN will ship HomeAgent to the US (excluding Alaska), Canada, the EU (excluding Ireland and Lithuania), the UK, Australia, and Singapore. Some Canadian provinces — Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick — may carry extra fees. UGREEN does not publish a shipping fee for any destination outside the US.
Returns work differently here than on a normal order. UGREEN's retail NAS products (the DH and DXP lines actually selling today) carry a 30-day return window. HomeAgent does not get that window: UGREEN states plainly that "crowdfunding rewards are not eligible for returns without valid cause, except where otherwise required by applicable law." The deposit itself is a separate, more forgiving step — UGREEN says you can "cancel and get a refund of your deposit at any time before the campaign ends." Once the pledge goes through on Kickstarter after November 17, 2026, that easier cancellation window closes.
Warranty follows the same split. UGREEN's retail NAS carries published terms: two years on the DH and DXP series, three years on the DXP6800/8800 and iDX6011, and one year on power adapters and network cables. For crowdfunding products, UGREEN only says the warranty clock "shall commence from the shipping date" — it does not publish how many years that warranty actually runs for the HA100, HA100 Pro, or MA100.
What UGREEN does not publish
- A warranty length for any HomeAgent model — only that the clock starts at shipping.
- Shipping fees for anywhere outside the US.
- An Early Bird price for the HA100 Pro (only its MSRP and Super Early Bird price exist).
- Detailed specs for the HA100 Pro and MA100 — bay counts, onboard storage, and port layouts are all missing.
- What happens to a deposit or pledge if the Kickstarter campaign fails to reach its funding goal.
- Current HomeAgent pricing for Australia, the UK, or the EU — UGREEN's Australia page still shows the pre-cut $899 figure, with no updated local price posted.
- A restocking fee for the retail return policy that governs UGREEN's non-HomeAgent products.
A few phrases on UGREEN's own campaign page also go further than the brand backs up. The page calls HomeAgent a "Record-Breaking Crowdfunding Success" before the Kickstarter campaign has even opened, without saying whether that refers to an earlier UGREEN project. It compares HomeAgent's running cost to "Google Nest Hub" subscription fees without naming which Nest product it means. And it advertises "permanent technical support" without defining how many years "permanent" covers or what conditions apply. Treat all three as marketing language, not documented terms.
Who should skip this
Skip this if you need a device in hand soon — the earliest delivery is late February 2027, and crowdfunding dates move. Skip it if you rely on a standard return window after the product arrives; HomeAgent pre-order rewards do not carry one. Skip it if you specifically want the HA100 Pro at its lowest available price but need to know that number today — the Early Bird tier for that model has not been published, so you cannot compare it to the Super Early Bird price in advance. And skip it if the idea of a multi-month gap between paying and receiving a $799-plus device is not something you are comfortable carrying, since UGREEN itself calls this a "special case" with its own warranty and return rules.
The deposit and pre-order mechanics
There is no coupon code to apply here — the discount is tier pricing, not a code typed into a cart. The mechanics work in two stages. First, you place a deposit now: $50 for either the HA100 or HA100 Pro, $200 for the MasterAgent MA100. UGREEN is explicit that "a deposit is not a final purchase," and that you can cancel for a full refund at any point before the campaign ends. Second, once the Kickstarter campaign opens on November 17, 2026, the deposit converts into a pledge for the remaining balance. Kickstarter's own rule applies on top of UGREEN's terms: each Kickstarter account gets only one pledge per project, so the deposit locks in a single unit, not multiple.
Check before you pay
- The deposit is only freely refundable until the Kickstarter campaign ends — after you pledge, HomeAgent rewards are not eligible for returns without valid cause.
- The Super Early Bird price and free gift both require a deposit placed before November 16, 2026 at 11:59 PM PT.
- Some UGREEN pages (the Australia version of this same campaign) still display the older $899/$1,799 pricing that the brand has since cut — check the price shown before you commit.
- No warranty term is published for any HomeAgent model, only that it starts counting from the shipping date.
- Delivery estimates (late February, April, and July 2027 for the three models) are UGREEN's current projection; an older UGREEN page listed January 2027 for the HA100 instead, and the brand has not reconciled the two dates.
Bottom line
UGREEN HomeAgent is a genuinely capable piece of hardware on paper — a local NAS, camera hub, and smart-home controller that UGREEN says runs its AI assistant without a subscription — but right now it is a deposit on a Kickstarter campaign that has not launched, not a product you can buy and return like a normal order. The $799 Super Early Bird price on the HA100 is real and time-limited, the $50 deposit is refundable while the campaign is still open, and the specs UGREEN has confirmed itself (RAM, AI performance, storage ceiling) line up across its own pages. What is missing — warranty length, non-US shipping costs, and a funding-failure contingency — is missing because the product has not shipped to anyone yet, not because UGREEN is hiding it. See the current HomeAgent pricing and deposit terms on StackWell Pick before you decide whether a multi-month wait is worth the early price, and read UGREEN's own HomeAgent crowdfunding page for the full deposit and refund language before you reserve.
