MOVESPEED Charger & Storage Guide

We may earn a commission when you buy through links on this page. This never affects the codes we list or how we test them.

Summary card of the figures this brand publishes. Each one is repeated in the text below.

MOVESPEED sells power banks, GaN chargers, portable SSDs and 240W cables in one catalogue, with a five-year warranty on storage and one year on charging. The published terms are useful, but the brand contradicts itself three ways on free shipping and two ways on returns, so read the figures in your own cart before you pay.

MOVESPEED is a direct-to-consumer electronics brand that puts power banks, a GaN charger, portable SSDs, flash drives and USB-C cables through one checkout. Nobody on this team has opened one of the boxes, so the sections below stay close to what the brand itself publishes on movespeed.com, with the gaps called out when they appear.

What MOVESPEED sells, and the choices that matter

One catalogue, two halves. The charging side covers power banks from 5,000mAh up to 70,000mAh, a GaN wall charger and 240W USB-C cables. The storage side covers portable SSDs, solid-state flash drives and micro SD cards.

Three decisions follow from that. First, charging versus storage — and not only because of what you need to carry, since the two families carry different warranty lengths. Second, inside charging, capacity: the range runs from 5,000mAh to 70,000mAh, with the largest numbers on the solid-state and magnetic lines at the top of the catalogue. Third, inside storage, format: a portable SSD for desk-to-bag transfers, a solid-state flash drive for pocket size, or micro SD for a camera or handheld.

The brand publishes no founding year, no customer count and no aggregate star rating on its home page, so there is no track record standing behind the specs.

Published prices by product line

These are the ranges the brand lists on its own home page, in USD. Solid-state and magnetic power banks, covering 5,000mAh through 70,000mAh, land between $79.99 and $159.99. The GaN wall charger sits at $99.99. Portable SSDs run from $159.98 to $359.99. Solid-state flash drives run from $59.99 to $149.99. The 240W cables run from $39.99 to $59.98.

The brand also runs rolling discounts of between 23% and 38% on individual products — the home page shows the AC10 power bank at 38% off and $49.99. Those discounts rotate, so treat them as what might be available on a given day. Whether a code applies on top of them is not published.

Shipping: three different free-ship thresholds

Start with what is firm. Orders are packed within 24 hours and ship out within 5 business days. Domestic transit from the nearest warehouse runs 5 to 7 business days; international runs 7 to 16 days, with one line on the shipping page estimating "2 to 4 weeks" instead. Standard shipping is priced at $9.98 for orders under $199.

Now the part that costs money. The brand publishes three different free-shipping thresholds, in three places on its own site, and reconciles none of them:

  • The home page says free worldwide shipping on orders over $99.
  • The shipping page says standard shipping is $9.98 for orders under $199, and free from $199.
  • A separate line on the same shipping page says free shipping for orders over $79.

The brand has not said which rule the checkout applies, so a cart that clears $99 but not $199 could be billed either way. Read the shipping line in your own cart before you pay.

MOVESPEED also does not ship to a long list of regions, including the whole of Africa plus Syria, Reunion, French Polynesia, Jamaica, Kuwait, Monaco, Guam, Greenland and Yemen among others. Check the full list on the shipping page before you build a cart you cannot complete.

Returns: 30 days and 72 hours, both on the same page

The refund timing is stated clearly: once an approved refund is issued, it goes back to the original payment method within 7 business days.

The window is not. One line of the return-and-refund policy gives standard items 30 days. Another line on the same page says that past 72 hours from the moment you receive the parcel you are not eligible for a refund or an exchange. Both statements are the brand's own, neither has been withdrawn, and the brand reconciles them nowhere.

Warranty: split by product family

Warranty length depends on which half of the catalogue you buy from, and the storage half is generous. Storage products — portable SSDs, flash drives, micro SD — carry a five-year warranty. Charging products — power banks, the GaN charger, cables — carry one year. Both require you to keep proof of purchase, and the brand says support replies to warranty requests within 3 business days.

That split is worth knowing before you choose, because the cheaper half of the catalogue is also the half with the shorter cover.

Check before you pay

  • Free shipping: the brand publishes $79, $99 and $199 as thresholds and reconciles none of them. Read the shipping line in your own cart before you pay.
  • Standard shipping is $9.98 on orders under $199 — the only shipping fee the brand puts a number on.
  • No expiry and no exclusion list are published for move10, and nothing states whether it stacks with on-page sale prices or with the Buy 2 banner.
  • Returns: the same policy page gives both 30 days and 72 hours from delivery. Plan for the shorter one if a return is likely.
  • The no-ship list covers the whole of Africa plus Syria, Reunion, French Polynesia, Jamaica, Kuwait, Monaco, Guam, Greenland and Yemen among others.

What MOVESPEED does not publish

  • No founding year, cumulative customer count, or aggregate review score anywhere on the home page.
  • No expiry for the move10 code, no exclusion list, and no rule on whether it stacks with sale prices or with the Buy 2, get 15% off banner.
  • No reconciliation of the three free-shipping thresholds, and none of the 30-day-versus-72-hour returns conflict.
  • No thermal behaviour described on the product pages. According to Technagger's review of the MOVESPEED P20 (MSP20) 20,000mAh LiFePO4 power bank, all four output ports hit their rated wattage, but pulling about 30W continuously through USB-C made the unit overheat and cut charging after around seven minutes at room temperature. That is one reviewer's bench result on one unit, not a figure the brand publishes.

Who should skip this brand

Skip it if you need a hard delivery date. A quoted range of 7 to 16 days, with "2 to 4 weeks" on the same page, is too loose for a birthday or a trip.

Skip it if you live in one of the regions on the no-ship list — the list is long and includes an entire continent.

Skip it if you cannot absorb a return being refused at the 72-hour mark. The 30-day line is on the page too, but you would be arguing one line of the policy against another.

Skip it if you want a brand with a long public track record, because MOVESPEED publishes no founding year, customer count or aggregate rating.

Think twice if you are buying on the charging side for sustained high-wattage work. The brand publishes capacity and port ratings but nothing on thermal cutout behaviour, and that is the one area where an independent bench test found a limit the product pages do not mention.

How to use the move10 code, and the bottom line

move10 is MOVESPEED's own public first-order coupon. It takes $10 off, the brand puts it directly on its home page, and the same offer appears as the newsletter signup reward — so this is not an exclusive rate, here or anywhere else. It is the one code we could confirm on the brand's own domain, and its conditions were read against that page rather than guessed.

Two things the brand does not spell out. The code is advertised for new customers, but nothing states whether the checkout enforces that. And nothing states whether it stacks with the Buy 2, get 15% off banner or with on-page sale prices — compare the totals in your own cart before you commit.

The honest summary: a decent spec sheet, a five-year storage warranty worth having, and policy pages that disagree with themselves on the two terms most likely to cost you money. Cross-check the figures on the MOVESPEED shipping and return page yourself, then see our MOVESPEED coupon page for the code and the live deal list in one place.
