Mondaria is a direct-to-consumer brand for outdoor composite and aluminum fencing, gates, decking boards, and a handful of garden accessories, sold through its own online store rather than through a home-improvement retailer.
What Mondaria sells, and who it's for
Mondaria's catalogue covers composite and aluminum privacy fence panels, aluminum gates, composite decking boards, raised garden beds, planter boxes, fence posts, and paid sample packs so a buyer can see a finish before ordering a full panel. The brand ships to all fifty US states plus Washington, D.C., and to Canada, pricing orders in USD for US customers and CAD for Canada. It runs physical showrooms in Chicago and Wood Dale, Illinois, and lists warehouses in Los Angeles, New York, Atlanta, and Illinois — useful context for anyone trying to guess how far a shipment has to travel. Mondaria also states it recycles at least 6,000 tons of plastic waste annually through its composite production, a company-wide figure rather than a per-order one.
This is a brand for someone replacing or adding a backyard fence, gate, or deck section — not a quick decor purchase. Order values run from a $20.90 sample pack up to a $2,899 automated double gate, so most people here are planning a specific outdoor project rather than browsing.
Material and line choices: composite vs aluminum
The core decision on this site is composite versus aluminum, then which finish within composite. Mondaria's composite material is a blend of 30% recycled wood powder, 45% recycled polyethylene, and 25% calcium carbonate — a recycled-plastic-and-wood-fiber composite rather than solid wood or solid vinyl. Composite fencing comes in two finish lines: Grained Finish (available in Brown, Black, Grey, New Cedar, Antique Wood, and Silver Gray) and Brushed Finish (Dark Brown and Dark Grey). Fence slats on the Brushed Finish line run 20mm thick.
Separately, Mondaria sells all-aluminum fence panels (open-slat and solid-privacy styles) and aluminum gates, with fence posts described as "high-grade aluminium, with an industry leading wall thickness of 1.8mm," finished with a marine-grade powder coating. The decking line is also aluminum-composite, sold as 96-inch by 5.5-inch by 0.9-inch boards in Antique Wood, Dark Coffee Brown, and Golden Rosewood. In short: composite for a wood-look privacy fence, aluminum for a lighter open-style fence or a gate, and the aluminum-composite boards for decking.
Fencing, gates, decking and garden add-ons by the numbers
On the fencing side, the Grained Finish 8ft Inground Post panel starts at $478 across six colors, while the 6ft Ground Post version lists at $417 and is currently discounted to $388 across three colors. Lattice-top panels sized for a 6ft post start at $239. Brushed Finish panels run $358 (6ft Ground Post, sale price $328) and $478 (8ft Inground Post, sale price $428), both in two colors.
Aluminum-only fencing starts at $399 for a 6ft by 6ft open-slat panel with a 6.1ft post, and $499 for a solid-privacy panel with an 8ft post. Gates are priced by size: a 5.87ft by 3ft single swing gate lists at $799 (sale $599), a 5.87ft by 4ft privacy gate at $999 (sale $639), a 5.87ft by 6ft double swing gate at $1,599 (sale $999), a 5.87ft by 8ft double gate at $1,699 (sale $1,259), and a 12ft double swing auto gate with straight-arm operators at a flat $2,899 with no sale price listed.
Decking boards (96" x 5.5" x 0.9", Pack of 3) list at $399 and are discounted to $309; Mondaria also sells a Pack of 10 but does not publish that bundle's price separately. Garden accessories round out the catalogue: a 35-inch-tall Raised Bed Garden Cabinet, a Composite Raised Garden Bed with lockable wheels, a 47.6" x 59" Vertical Screen Planter Bed with an aluminum frame and composite panel, and a Special Configuration fence-and-post bundle sold in six different panel-and-post combinations. Fence posts alone run $139 (6ft Silver, set of 1, sale $100) and $249 (6ft Silver, set of 2). Sample packs — three or six colors, composite or aluminum — all cost $20.90 regardless of their original listed price; Mondaria does not offer a free sample option.
Pricing and current sale prices
Everything Lee tracks on Mondaria right now is a deal, not a coupon — there is no code to type in, because Mondaria does not issue one to this site. Every sale price below is the price already shown on the product page; you do not need to enter anything at checkout to get it.
The deepest cut in the catalogue is the Raised Bed Garden Cabinet, marked down from $599 to $179.99 — a roughly 69% reduction, with free shipping included and the page showing active stock at the time this was checked. Other live sale prices include the Composite Raised Garden Bed with Lockable Wheels (down from $419 to $169.99, about 59% off), the Vertical Screen Planter Bed (from $599 to $209, about 65% off), the 6ft Silver fence post set of two (from $249 to $139.99, about 43% off), the Aluminum Composite Decking Boards Pack of 3 (from $399 to $309, about 22% off), the Brushed Finish 8ft Inground fence panel (from $478 to $428, about 10% off), and the 6-Color Composite Fence Sample Pack (from $25.99 to $20.90, about 19% off). None of the sale pages list an end date for these prices.
Shipping
Mondaria publishes free shipping on every order, with no minimum order value required to qualify — there is no threshold to clear either before or after a discount, since the discount does not change the free-shipping status either way. Where the brand is less consistent is delivery time: the shipping policy page states 7–10 business days (broken down as 1–3 days processing plus 3–7 days transit), while individual product pages state 3–7 business days for the same kind of order. Mondaria has not reconciled the two figures anywhere we could find.
Deliveries run Monday through Friday only, with no shipments on holidays, and Mondaria does not ship to APO, FPO, or DPO addresses. Smaller orders go out via FedEx or UPS; larger freight orders (full fence or gate sets) ship via ABF, JTS, or ESTES. Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled. Mondaria does not publish a specific shipping fee for Canadian orders — the shipping policy page covers only the fifty US states and Washington, D.C., even though Canada is listed as a served market on the homepage.
Returns
Mondaria allows returns within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original condition, and the company charges a 15% restocking fee on every return. The customer pays return shipping, including freight shipping costs for large truck-delivered orders. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7 business days of Mondaria receiving the returned item, and Mondaria requires buyers to contact support before sending anything back — unannounced returns are not accepted.
Some items cannot be returned at all: anything received more than 30 days ago, anything damaged, used, or missing parts, custom orders, and — notably — every gate in the catalogue, since gates are built to custom specifications. That last exclusion matters for anyone buying a gate specifically because they're unsure about fit.
Mondaria's own pages do not agree on the return window. The refund policy states returns must happen within 14 days of delivery, but the same policy also says items received more than 30 days ago cannot be returned, and the FAQ page separately states customers must contact Mondaria within 30 days of purchase to start a return. Some product pages additionally advertise a "30-day money-back guarantee." These numbers — 14 days, 30 days from purchase, and a 30-day guarantee — are not the same claim, and Mondaria does not explain which one governs.
Warranty
Warranty terms also conflict depending on which page you read. The Brushed Finish 8ft fence product page states a flat "20-year warranty on all products." The Grained Finish 6ft fence page and the Special Configuration fence bundle page each state both "industry leading 20 year warranty on all our products" and an "exceptional 25-year warranty" on the same page, without clarifying which applies to which part or finish. All product pages we checked agree on a separate "one year free replacement guarantee" for items that fail due to a manufacturing defect.
Wind damage is explicitly excluded from warranty coverage as an "act of nature." One fence listing states the product is "Wind-rated at 100 mph by Intertek USA," but no certificate number or test report is linked, so this reads as a manufacturer claim rather than something a buyer can independently verify. Mondaria's dedicated warranty policy page returned a 404 error at the time of research, so the full terms and conditions were not available to check against these product-page claims.
What Mondaria does not publish
- A specific shipping fee or timeline for Canadian orders (the shipping policy only covers the US).
- End dates for any of the current sale prices.
- The price of the Pack of 10 decking boards (only Pack of 3 pricing is confirmed).
- A working warranty policy page — the dedicated page is a 404, so the full warranty terms cannot be reviewed in full.
- Exclusions or eligibility rules for the current sale prices (which items, if any, are carved out).
Who should skip this brand
Anyone buying a gate specifically because they might need to return it should look elsewhere — gates are excluded from returns entirely, regardless of condition. Buyers in Canada who need to know the landed cost before ordering should hold off until they can confirm the shipping fee directly, since it is not published. If you need a confirmed delivery date for a project deadline, the 7–10 versus 3–7 business-day conflict on Mondaria's own pages means you should build in extra buffer rather than plan tightly. Anyone who wants to read the full warranty contract before buying — not just the marketing line on a product page — will not be able to, since that policy page is down. And if your main interest is a discount code rather than a deal, there is nothing to apply here: Mondaria does not issue one to this site, and no public coupon code appears anywhere on Mondaria's own pages.
Check before you pay
- Every gate in the catalogue is final sale — it cannot be returned for any reason, including fit.
- A 15% restocking fee applies to all returns, and you pay return shipping on top of that.
- The return window is stated as 14 days from delivery in one place and 30 days from purchase in another — contact Mondaria before assuming either applies to your order.
- Warranty length is listed as both 20 years and 25 years on the same product page, and wind damage is not covered under any warranty length.
- Sale prices do not list an expiration date, so the price you see today is not guaranteed to hold tomorrow.
Mondaria's current sale prices are deals, not coupon codes — there is nothing to type in at checkout. If you want to see every live offer Lee is currently tracking on this brand, including current sale pricing on fencing, gates, decking, and garden accessories, the full list is on the Mondaria coupons and deals page.
