The catalogue covers pedal bikes for children, balance bikes for toddlers, a kids' BMX line, a kids' e-bike and kick scooters. Since 2021 the brand has partnered with Athletes In The Making, donating more than 50 bikes each holiday season.

Pricing sits at the budget end of the kids' bike market. Pedal bikes start at $99.99: the Totem from $99.99, the Little Daisy at $109.99 (down from $139.99), the Angel, Fantasy and Pluto 2.0 at $109.99, and the Unicorn from $119.99. Balance bikes start at $49.99 with the Roller, while the 12-inch Marcher is $52.99. The Brockway BMX starts at $189.99, the STARMOTO Lumation kids' e-bike starts at $499.99 (down from $699.99), and the Blaster and Conway kick scooters are $109.99.

Shipping is the part to read twice. A bike ships free by standard delivery, typically arriving in three to seven business days, and most orders leave the warehouse within 48 hours of payment via UPS or FedEx Ground. But JOYSTAR delivers only to the 48 contiguous US states — it does not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, the US Virgin Islands or APO/FPO addresses, and it does not ship internationally. JOYSTAR does not publish a free-shipping threshold for accessories or other non-bike orders.

Returns are accepted within 30 days of the invoice date, and only for items that are new, unused and in the original box with the manual and warranty card. If you return for a personal reason, you pay the return shipping plus a restocking fee set "in JOYSTAR's sole discretion" — the brand does not publish a fixed percentage. If the item has a quality defect, JOYSTAR covers both the return shipping and the restocking charge. Refunds are processed within one to three business days and reach your original payment method in about five to seven business days. The frame carries a lifetime warranty for the original purchaser only.

A few things JOYSTAR does not publish: the restocking fee amount, how long the warranty on components other than the frame lasts, and the end dates of its on-site sales. Its newsletter promises "special offers, free giveaways" without naming a discount figure.
