Pressed and Placed Diamond Kits Guide

Editorial cover: the headline and byline are repeated as text immediately below.

Pressed and Placed sells diamond painting kits for adults from independent artists. This guide reads the published prices, the shipping and return windows, the subscription-box exclusion, and what the brand leaves unstated.

Diamond painting is a slow craft, and the kit you pick decides whether the next few weeks feel calm or frustrating. Pressed and Placed is a small shop built around licensed artwork and premium canvas. Nobody on the editorial team has worked one of these kits, so this is a map of what the brand publishes rather than a verdict on the finished piece.

What Pressed and Placed sells, and who it is for

Pressed and Placed sells diamond painting kits, also called diamond art, aimed at adult hobbyists rather than children. The founders list themselves as Amber and Lukas, and the stated mission is "bringing unique, delightful artwork from independent artists paired with high-quality materials." The catalogue carried 363 products when this guide was written.

A standard kit includes a soft lint canvas with a subtle glitter tint and a wavy edge, pre-sorted drill baggies, application tools in a basic or premium set, and a sticker sheet. The premium tool set is a paid add-on at $10.

Every design is described by the brand as "properly licensed," with artists receiving compensation. Pressed and Placed does not name the organisation or publish the contracts behind that line, so it stands as the brand's own statement.

The real axes to pick on

Choosing a kit here comes down to two decisions, and getting them right once makes the rest of the catalogue read cleanly.

The first axis is drill type. Square drills, in the brand's words, use "high-quality resin, offering crisp edges and a more detailed, mosaic-style finish." Round drills use "high-quality acrylic, providing a smooth, classic look and an easier placement experience." The round description points at an easier first project; the square description points at a tighter mosaic.

The second axis is series, and it is really a question of how long you are willing to wait. Hand-Rendered Kits are painted by independent artists and come in a range of sizes. Mini Kits at 20x20 cm sell singly or in four-packs. Ready to Ship pieces leave a US warehouse in two to three business days. The two Subscription Box tiers arrive monthly and, as covered below, sit outside every discount the shop runs.

Specific kits, prices, and the published range

All prices below are the figures printed on Pressed and Placed product pages at the time of writing, in USD. The published catalogue range runs from $38.99 to $174.99.

At the entry end, Swan Ducklings is a 40x50 cm Hand-Rendered Kit at $38.99, and Fresh From the Oven in the Cozy Kitchen Shelf series starts at $43.99 across two square sizes. Under the Sea runs $69.99 at 70x40 cm and Greenhouse Library $69.99 at 49.85x62 cm. The Harvest Stand is $55.99, Cozy Winter Home $72.99, and Market Day in Autumn $79.99. Several of these, including Swan Ducklings, Under the Sea, Greenhouse Library, The Harvest Stand, Cozy Winter Home and Market Day in Autumn, were marked sold out when we checked, which is worth knowing before you plan a cart around one.

In the middle of the range, Ghost Brew starts at $84.99 and A Cottage Morning is $92.99 for either the 65x65 cm or the 72.2x72.2 cm size, printed with 35 square drill colours. Flower Wind Chimes, Cozy Reading Nook and Cottage Garden all start at $94.99. At the top sits Dragon's Sanctuary at $164.99.

If you want more than one piece at once, the 20x20 cm Mini four-packs run $54.99 each and include Whimsy Witch Rooms, Witches Bedroom and Beneath the Bright Sea, with The Dino Squad and The Creative Studio bundles in the Ready to Ship range at the same price. The Monthly Subscription Box is $89.99 per month for two to three hand-rendered square kits in mixed sizes, and the Monthly Minis Subscription Box is $49.99 per month for four 20x20 cm square kits with no toolkit included.

Shipping

Shipping is free on orders of $150 USD or more, applied automatically at checkout with no code needed. Ready to Ship pieces leave a US warehouse in two to three business days, which is the fast lane in this catalogue.

Made-to-order kits are slower: one to seven business days to produce, then roughly three to four weeks of transit, which the brand summarises as "within 3 to 6 weeks from purchase." Pressed and Placed states that these kits "ship directly from trusted manufacturing partners overseas," but does not name the carrier. It also does not publish the shipping fee on orders under $150, so that figure only appears once your address is in the cart.

Returns

If a kit arrives damaged, short, or defective, you have 30 days from receipt to contact support with photos and a description. Resolution can be a replacement, a partial refund, or a full refund depending on the case, there is no restocking fee, and approved refunds go back to the original payment method within 10 business days. EU customers keep a separate 14-day cooling-off window on unopened, undamaged kits, with return shipping paid by the buyer unless the item is faulty.

The hard line is change of mind. Pressed and Placed does not accept returns "for change of mind, incorrect selections, or items that have been opened or used." Opened or used kits, custom items, sale items, and gift cards are not returnable at all.

Warranty

The brand does not publish a separate product warranty. The closest commitment is the 30-day window for damage, missing items, or defects described above. If a longer guarantee matters to you at the top of that range, ask in writing before you buy.

What Pressed and Placed does not publish

The brand does not publish whether the $150 free shipping threshold is measured before or after a discount code. It does not publish the shipping fee for orders under $150. It does not list the countries it ships to, though checkout accepts multiple currencies and the refund policy references an EU cooling-off period. It does not name the carrier used for made-to-order kits. It does not publish a separate product warranty beyond the 30-day defect window.

On codes, it does not list any public discount code on its own site, and it does not publish a minimum order value for using one, whether codes stack with other offers, whether sale items accept a code, or any exclusion rules beyond the subscription-box carve-out. It does not publish a full list of accepted payment cards beyond major credit cards, PayPal, Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay, the single-unit price of a 20x20 cm Mini kit, or its company headquarters location.

Two numbers on the site are the brand's own and cannot be checked from the public pages: a 4.83-star average over 464 reviews and a 4.91 out of 5 over 70 reviews on the Monthly Subscription Box, where the testimonials page shows TikTok and YouTube embeds instead of a dated review list. The Monthly Subscription Box also advertises a stated value of "$150+" without listing the retail price of the kits inside. We looked for independent write-ups with a named author and a date and found none, and there is no Trustpilot page for this brand.

Check before you pay

  • Free shipping starts at $150 USD, but the brand does not publish whether that is measured before or after a code. Read the shipping line in your own cart after the discount applies, before you pay.
  • Both Subscription Boxes print "This listing is excluded from all discounts and sales," so neither will take a code or a shop sale.
  • The shipping fee on orders under $150 is not published anywhere on the site. It only becomes visible once you reach checkout.
  • The brand publishes no expiry date, minimum order value, or stacking rule for discount codes, so the cart is the only place those terms appear.
  • Change-of-mind returns are not accepted. On an EU cooling-off return you pay the return freight unless the kit is faulty, and there is no restocking fee either way.

Who should skip Pressed and Placed

Skip Pressed and Placed if you need a kit by a fixed date within four weeks and the piece you want is not in the Ready to Ship range, because three to six weeks on made-to-order kits is the published window. Skip it if you want change-of-mind returns on opened kits, which the refund policy rules out. Skip it if your budget is under $35 for a full-size piece, since the catalogue starts at $38.99 and the Hand-Rendered pieces sit higher. Skip it if a discount is central to your decision and the item you want is a Subscription Box. And skip it if you need a carrier commitment in writing, because the brand does not name one for overseas-shipped kits.

Using the Pressed and Placed code

The code on our page is a 15 percent discount, and we found no public code of equal or greater value on the brand's own site. Nobody here has put it through a live checkout, so the wording the cart shows at the discount line is the authoritative version of what the brand allows that day.

The exclusion to know before you add anything is the subscription tier. Both boxes carry the same sentence in their listings: "This listing is excluded from all discounts and sales." Add a subscription alongside a Hand-Rendered Kit and the code will discount the kit only; a cart holding nothing but a subscription will not take the code at all. You can read the brand's own refund policy for the damage window and the EU terms in full. The current offers we have on file sit on our Pressed and Placed coupon page, and the free shipping line in your cart is the figure that decides whether you cleared $150.
